Removing the Hinge Covers
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the
battery
.
3.
Remove the
access panel
.
4.
Remove the screws that secure the right hinge cover to the computer.
5.
Remove the screws that secure the left hinge cover to the computer.
6.
Slide the left and right hinge covers toward the back of the computer and remove them from the computer.
Replacing the Hinge Covers
To replace the hinge covers, perform the above steps in reverse order.
