Removing the Modem
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the
battery
.
3.
Remove the
access panel
.
4.
Remove the screw that secures the modem to the computer.
5.
Using the Mylar tab, gently lift the modem up.
6.
Disconnect the modem cable from the modem and remove the modem from the computer.
Replacing the Modem
To replace the modem, perform the above steps in reverse order.
