Removing the Processor/Memory's Slot Cover
NOTE: The cover is an optional component and it covers the additional processor and the memory slots. Your
computer may not be shipped with the cover.
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the left cover
3.
Release the retention latches that secure the processor/memory slot cover.
4.
Remove the processor/memory slot cover from the computer.
Installing the Processor/Memory's Slot Cover
1.
Place the processor/memory slot cover in its compartment in the computer.
2.
Press the retention clips to secure the processor/memory slot cover.
3.
Install the left cover
