Dell Update Package for Intel Adapter Firmware
The Dell Update Package (DUP) for Intel Adapter Firmware is provided by Dell. It includes all support files and EEPROM and
Flash images needed in a self-extracting file that silently updates the firmware.
In order to use the package on Linux Systems, the following is required:
DKMS must be installed.
A Dell supported kernel or kernel sources must be installed.
NOTE: If the kernel is not a Dell supported kernel, the compile and make packages also need to be included.
NOTE: This DUP is not supported on ESX and Citrix XenServer. However, these operating systems can be updated with
the Update Package through the Lifecycle Controller.
