7. Remove the battery by pressing the tab, which releases the battery from the battery socket.
8. Insert the new battery into the socket with the side labeled "+" facing up, and snap the battery into place.
9. Replace the computer cover.
10. Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.
11. Enter system setup and restore the settings you recorded in step 1.
12. Properly dispose of the old battery.
