Troubleshooting

9-7

When I am in Dell Open-
Manage Array Manager,
right-clicking on a volume
and selecting Explore
causes the Advanced
Administration Menu
to
appear and the error

/e,/

idlist,:0:2628,
C:\ to display.

The Terminal Services
session had a problem
launching the Windows
Explorer console.

Close the Advanced
Administration Menu
when the error displays
and reselect Explore.

The Dell OpenManage
Array Manager event log
has grown past its set
size.

The Dell OpenManage
Array Manager event log
size does not work.

Clear the Dell OpenMan-
age Array Manager event
log periodically by right-
clicking and selecting
Clear all Events from
the Event tab.

I have noticed that my
Dell OpenManage Array
Manager Log file has
exceeded it's maximum
log size.

The maximum log file
size has been exceeded
because the notification
message can not be
seen and cleared through
Terminal Services or
NAS Manager.

Use Dell OpenManage
Array Manager to clear
the logs periodically.

I have tried logging on to
my Dell OpenManage
Remote Assistant Card
(DRAC) through the Web
console software and I
cannot log on. I config-
ured my DRAC using the
PowerVault Advanced
Administration Menu
and I can ping the IP
address I assigned the
card. What should I do?

There are spaces before
or after the user name or
password entries.

Reedit the configuration
file to ensure there are
no spaces before or after
any of the user and pass-
word entries.
