Removing the WLAN Card

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the computer battery (see

Removing the Computer Battery

).


 

3.

Open the display (see

Opening the Display

).


 

4.

Remove the palm rest assembly (see

Removing the Palm Rest Assembly

).


 

5.

Remove the screw that secures the WLAN card to the computer base.

 

6.

Slide and lift the WLAN card out of the connector on the right daughter board.

 

7.

Turn the WLAN card over.

 

8.

Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN card.

 

Replacing the WLAN Card

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the new WLAN card from its packaging.
