Playing MDs
Locating a Specific Track
You can quicklv locate l HW track while plaving a disc
by usinp AMS (/Vutomatic Music Sensor), and
numbt'r butttms or M.SCAN L)n the rt'mote.

Turn AVIS clockwise or press

press to start playing.
To pause playing at the beginning of a track
Turn AV1S (or press or ►►!) after pausing playback.
To go quickly to the beginning of the last track
Turn AMS c()unterck>ckwise (c^r press ) while the display
shows the total track number and total disc playing time (see
page 13).
Locating a Particular Point in a
Track
You can also use MM and ►► to k>cate a particular
point in a track while playing an Mid or during
playback pause.
To locate a point Press
While monitoring the ►► (forward) or (backward)
sound and keep pressing until you find
the point
Quickly bv observing ►► or MM and keep pressing until
the display during you find the point. There is no
playback pause sound output during this
operation.
Notes
• If the di.se reaches the end while you are pressing ►► duriiig
playback pau.se, "OVF.K” appears in the display. Press
(or ) or turn AVIS counterclockwi.'-e t(^ go back.
• If the disc reaches the end while you are pressing ►► during
sound monitoring, the recorder stops.
• Tracks that are iinly a few seconds long may be too short to
scan using the search function. For such tracks, it is better to
play the VID at normal speed.
'Q' When you directly locate a track with a number over
25
You must press >23 first, before entering the
corresponding digits.
Press >23 once it it a 2-digit track number, and twice if it
is a 3-digit track number.
