Playing MDs
Playing an MD Using a Timer
You can start playing an Ml^ at a preset time by
connecting a timer (not supplied). Flense refer to the
instructions of the timer for further help.

1 Press PLAY MODE repeatedly (or one of the PLAY
MODE buttons once) to select the play mode you
want.
2 Set TIMER on the recorder to PLAY,
3 Set the timer to the time you want.
The recorder turns off. When the specified time
arrives, the recorder turns on and starts playing.
4 After you have finished using the timer, set TIYIER
on the recorder to OFE.
Notes
• You can select PRCXlRAiVl in Step I. ,\'ote, however, that
programs eventually fade avvav when the standby status is
off, and therefore if you set the time too far in the future, the
program may be gone when the specified time arrives. If
this has occurred, the recorder enters COYTINL'H mode at
the specified time and the tracks play in consecutive order.
• If you select PROGRAM in Step I and set TIMER to PLAY
while "TOC" appsears, the recorder enters CONiTlNUE mode
at the specified time and the tracks plav in consecutive order.
