Receiving calls

Additional tasks
When you hear the phone ring,
press (
LINE 1 ) or C LINE 2 )
whichever button is flashing.
The corresponding LINE 1 or
LINE 2 button lights up, so you
can know which line is used.
When you are done talking,
press (
OFF ) or replace the
handset on the base phone.
The corresponding line button
goes off.
When calls come in on line 1 and
line 2 at the same time
Both the LINE I and LINE 2 buttons
flash, and the phone rings. When
you press C
LINE 1) or ( line 2), a
line is connected and another line
continue calling you (the
corresponding line button continue
flashing). To put a call on hold and
connect another line, see "Receiving
a call while talking" on page 19.
To Do this
Put a cal) on hold. Press ( HOLD) .
The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button will flash slowly.
Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) to resume the conversation.
Switch to another call
("call waiting" service*) Press ( FLASH).
Press (FLASH) again to return to the first caller.
Turn on/off the ringer of the
handset Press (SPEED DIALVPGM) ,(T«^ and fT) or to select line then
(T) to turn the ringer on, or to turn it off press (o) instead of QD-
Then press ( SPEED DIAtyPGM).
