TV monitor

If you use a TV monitor, do not connect anything to the TV /
DBS VIDEO IN jack.

Receiver

TV monitor

VCR (via the VIDEO 1/2 jacks)

If you have two VCRs, connect the second one to the VIDEO
2 jacks.

Overview

This section describes how to connect a LD / DVD

player, TV, DBS tuner, DAT / MD deck, and CD player
equipped with digital jack(s) to the receiver. If you use
a digital component, select the appropriate input mode

for the component (see page 13).

Video camera recorder or

video game

LD player or DVD player

If you have an additional LD player or DVD player, connect
it to the VIDEO 2 jacks.

Optical digital connecting cord (not supplied) (1 for a
DVD, LD, CD player, TV, or DBS tuner; 2 for a DAT or
MD deck)
