Making Your Personal
Audio Emphasis File
(personal file)
You can create a personal file of audio
patterns and store them in the player's
memory. Later, call up this audio pattern to
play a favorite tape, CD, or radio program.
You can create up to five audio files.

Press one of the FILE 1-5 buttons to
store the sound effect.
"MEMORY" disappears and the name
of the file you stored appears in the
display.
To call up the personal file
Press FILE SELECT (or MUSIC MENU 0/0
on the remote) to select P FILE. The P FILE
indicator lights up. Then press one of the
FILE 1 - 5 buttons (or MUSIC MENU o/c-
on the remote).
To erase the personal file
Store a new personal file at a previously
used personal file number (FILE 1 - 5) to
erase the old personal file.
Note
If you press SURROUND when you choose
one of the preset settings (SELECT 5 and
MORE 5), the preset setting will be
canceled automatically.
Obtain the sound effect you want. (See
"Selecting the Audio Emphasis" and
"Adjusting the Audio Emphasis" for
details).
Adjust the sound with the CURSOR
CONTROL (See "Adjusting the Audio
Emphasis” for details).
Press EQ MEMORY.
"MEMORY" appears and
flashes in the display.
