1 Insert a cassette.
2 Turn on the TV.
3 If your TV is connected to both VHFAJHF OUT and
UNE OUT on the VCR, select the input for the VCR.
If your TV is connected only to the VHFAJHF OUT
on the VCR, select the channel for the VCR
(CH3orCH4).
4 Preset PLAY.
To stop playback
PressBSTOP.
To stop playback for a moment
Press II PAUSE.
Press II PAUSE again or ► PLAY to resume playback.
To fast-forward the cassette at high speed during stop
mode
Turn the DUAL MODE SHUTTLE ring to the right (►►).
To rewind the cassette during stop mode
Turn the DUAL MODE SHUTTLE ring to the left {◄◄).
To rewind the cassette at high speed
Piess>«4^HI-SPEEDREWIND.
To rewind the cassette to its beginning and to play back
automatically (auto playback function)
Press^ PLAY while depressing HI-SPEED REWIND or
by using the DUAL MODE SHUTTLE ring.
You cannot use the Remote Commander for the auto
playback function.
To reduce streaks and/or snow and obtain a clearer
picture
Switch the PICTURE switch to NOISE REDUCTION when
playing back rental or poor quality tapes.
When the cassette reaches its end
The cassette automatically rewinds to the beginning
(auto rewind), and power remains on.
