The above figures were obtained under Canon test eonditions (fully charged battery, EF 50mm

F1.4 USM lens, Review function [On], Review Time [2 sec.], Quality [Large M ]).
Playback on the LCD monitor is available for approximately 140 minutes at normal

temperature (continuous auto playback).

The number of available shots may be less than indicated in some cases, due to

differences in operating conditions.

The number of available shots is reduced by frequent use of the LCD monitor.

Fielding the shutter button halfway down for long periods to use the AF function

without taking a shot can reduce the number of available shots.

In low temperature conditions (0°C/32°F), the number of available shots may be

less than indicated.

Removing the Battery Pack

Open the battery cover.

Slide the lever in the direction shown by the
arrow in the diagram, and open the cover

as shown.

Remove the battery pack.

Slide the battery lock lever in the direction
shown by the arrow, and remove the

battery.

Close the battery cover.

Press the cover closed until it clicks shut.
