Close-Up Mode

This mode is for taking close-up shots of flowers,

insects, or other small subjects.

Set the Mode Dial to < A>.

® The way you take pictures is the same as in (I I)

(Full Auto) mode. (^42)

The AF mode is automatically set to (ONE

SFIOT), the drive mode to < D) (Single shot),

and the metering mode to (®).

The Quality setting is automatically set to

Large/Fine (2160 x 1440).

Close-up mode is most effective when the subject is at the minimum focusing

distance of the lens.

If you use a zoom lens, use its longest focal length to get a higher magnification.

For better close-ups, we recommend using an EOS-dedicated macro lens and

the Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX.
