Focusing

Two focusing systems are available to suit your

needs: autofocus and manual focus.

Autofocus

Tbe camera enters autofocus mode as soon as

you turn the camera on. Focus adjusts
automatically to suit the subject located in the
centre of the viewfinder.

• The camera transmits infrared beams to the

subject and receives reflected beams at the

autofocus window to focus automatically.

When the subject is at a distance of

approximately 3 metres, focus is adjusted in
the centre of the viewfinder. For subject

distances greater than 3 metres, camera

focus point is slightly higher and to the left in

the viewfinder; for distances less than 3

metres, camera focus point is slightly lower
and to the right. For very close subjects at a

distance of less than approximately 1 metre,

this shift of focus becomes more obvious.
