Fuse box in passenger compartment

!

Do not use sharp objects such as a

screwdriver to open the fuse box cover in
the dashboard. You could damage the fuse
box cover or the dashboard.

The fuse box is located behind a cover in the
dashboard on the front passenger side.

Fuse box cover

X

Opening: Open the front passenger door.

X

Open the glove box.

X

Insert flat, blunt object as a lever into the
edge of cover

at the position indicated

by the arrow.

X

Loosen cover

1

from the dashboard using

the lever.

X

Using your hands, pull cover

1

out and

remove.

X

Closing: Hook cover

1

into the opening at

the front.

X

Press cover

1

back on until it engages.

The fuse box cover must be properly

positioned as described to prevent
moisture or dirt from entering the fuse box
and possibly impairing fuse operation.

Fuse box in engine compartment

Opening: Open the hood.

Fuse box cover

Clamps

X

With a dry cloth, remove any moisture from
the fuse box

Pull clamps

in direction of arrow.

Lift fuse box cover

up.

X

Closing: Make sure the sealing rubber is

positioned properly.

X

Press fuse box cover

down and secure

with clamps

The fuse box cover must be installed

properly to prevent moisture and/or dirt
from entering the fuse box and possibly
impairing fuse operation.

Close the hood after checking or replacing
fuses.
