Programming The Transmitter
Press and hold the Prog
button until the PROG symbol
displays, then release the
button. The Transmitter is now in
Programming mode.
To exit Programming mode, press and
release the Prog button again. The
PROG symbol is not displayed.
Turning ON the Transmitter
Power up the Transmitter by pressing
any button. You will see the display turn
on when you press any button.
Reset All Programmable Settings
Press and at the same time to
reset all programmable settings to the

Transmitter Default Settings
Dog 1&2 Stim Type: S Sttiim m O On nllyy
(Continuous)
Dog 1&2 Primary Stim Level: 5 5
Dog 1&2 Alt Stim Level: 1 10 0
You can program the above options for
your Transmitter, except that the Scout
Transmitter’s Alt Stim level is not
programmable.
Set Stim Button Stimulation Level
To change the stimulation level for the
Stim button:
Press or until the desired
stimulation level is displayed. When the
Stim button is pressed, the Receiver will
deliver stimulation at this setting.

Program the Stim Type (Tone Option)
For Ranger Transmitters, stimulation may
be delivered without a tone or with a
tone. The Transmitter’s default setting is
Stim without Tone.
To choose Stim Tone Option:
1 1.. Choose desired dog using
the Dog Select button.
2 2.. Press and hold the Prog
button until the PROG
symbol appears in the
Transmitter display. Release the Prog
button.
3 3.. Press and release the
Tone button. If you keep
pressing the Tone button,
the selection cycles through these
choices:
• Stim without Tone
(shows no tone symbol)
• Stim with Tone
(shows a solid tone symbol)
• Double Reward
(explained on the next page;
shows a flashing tone symbol)
When set to Stim without Tone, the
Transmitter displays only the stim
level. For Stim with Tone, the display
shows the stim level and a solid tone
symbol. When set to Double Reward
a flashing tone symbol displays.
4 4.. Press and release the Prog button to
save setting and exit programming.
