ZFS Pools

The first item on the menu is used to create a zpool and its underlying virtual devices. This section
describes editing zpools. Refer to the following section for virtual devices. When selecting this option, you
are given a list of existing zpools and an option to create a new one:

If you select Add New, a new zpool name will be generated for you. When creating a new zpool or
selecting an existing zpool, you are taken to the following options screen:

From here, you can change the Pool Name (and all datasets and virtual devices within the pool will be
changed as well). If you want to delete the zpool, move to the Create Option field and press “D”. To add,
change or delete virtual devices, use the down-arrow to move to a virtual device line (1-5) and press Enter
or F4 to list and change the attributes. Note that you can only add virtual devices in order, and if a virtual
device is deleted, the remaining virtual devices will be moved up in the list as needed. You can only move
to a line containing existing virtual device information or the next sequential line to add a new virtual device.
