Prefix Dialing allows storing the prefix of commonly-dialed

numbers (area codes, common system prefixes, local
system access codes, etc.) into the handset for later recall

by merely pressing CT) . Prefixes may be up to 32 digits

long.

. To store a prefixed dial, first verify that no digits are

presently entered in the display, and that the handset is

not in a Dial Lock condition (see page 3-57).

2. Press (~p~). Assuming no previous prefix has been

entered, observe the "

-" display message.

3. Enter the desired sequence (up to 32 digits) and press

to store this prefix into memory. In this example,
