Receiving a request for voice contact
If the other party initiates voice contact during transmission or reception, your unit will emit a
distinctive ring after the transmission/reception is completed.
When a distinctive ring is heard, lift the handset, or
press SP-PHONE then start speaking.

NOTE:
- If you do not answer within 10 seconds of hearing the distinctive rings, one of the following
occurs:
• When the unit is in the
ANS/FAX
mode, it will play back your greeting message and record
the incoming voice-message.
• When the unit is in the
TEL/FAX, FAX
or
TEL
mode, the line is disconnected.
