3 Execution of Measurement
3.1 Filters
• Loosen the two slotted screws (under the transmitter unit).
• Remove plate
• Place filters (after delivery, a filter is already in place)
• Tighten screws of plate
Use the transmitter unit only with a filter.
Generally, change the filter if you us different materials when com-
minuting.
Check the filter after each measurement and change it if necessary.
3.2 Execution of Measurement
1. Test:
• Start-up switches of the transmitter unit.
• condition of the accumulator (full/empty)
• Filter
• Connections on transmitter unit
2. Fill grinding-bowl
(see instruction manual of the mill!)
3. Check the gasket of the grinding bowl
(change if damaged)
4. Screw transmitter unit onto grinding bowl (4 screws)
5. Put grinding bowl in the mill
6. To tighten the grinding bowl please follow the instruc-
tion manual of the mill!
Caution!!
The planetary mill is not to be loaded unbalanced, the load-
ing has always to be effected symmetrically, which means
that the total weight of the GTM II system, the grinding balls
and the sample absolutely needs to be the same than the
counterweight.
