5.2.2 Stand by with configuration

Stand by, extends the operation time of the transmitter unit with one ac-
cumulator-charge. In stand-by no measurements are taken and energy
is being saved in the transmitter unit.
If a measurement-alteration takes place after stand-by, the different cri-
terions during stand-by are being adapted by the automatic measuring
speed adaptation.

5.2.3 Automatic measuring speed adaptation

The last three measured measurements are set aside in a shift register.
These three stored measurements give information about the momen-
tary signal dynamics and are used by the automatic measuring speed
adaptation to adjust the sensing rate. This automatic measuring speed
adaptation is being achieved by alteration of the stand-by time, which
occurs in limits of stand-by = 0 (continuous measuring (12ms)) and the
maximum stand-by time (two modes pre-selectable: 2

5

x12ms or

2

2

x12ms).

• If the comparison of present measurements leads to the re-

sult, that no measurement-alteration took place, the stand-by
time is being doubled till the set limits are achieved and these
are retained till the next values change.

• If there is a dissimilarity for all three values and measurements

differ for one digit (for pressure measuring depending on
range) the stand-y time is being cut in half, each time for the
the lower limit of the stand-by time = 0 (max. measuring rate of
12ms).

• If the difference of the last measurement amounts is three Dig-

its (in the stand-by mode 1) or four Digits (in stand-by mode
2), the maximum measuring speed will be set.

Calibration

The started pressure-sensor-types possess an outstanding long-time-
stability. The application as measuring instrument necessitates an an-
nual calibration of the transmitter unit. If the use of the transmitter unit
takes place mainly when reaction-grinding, so a biannual calibration is
recommended. For this please send the transmitter unit to the manufac-
turer. The transmitter unit will be returned in a calibrated state.

6 Cleaning

Unscrew the lower plate (filter-cover) from the transmitter units. Cover
the filter-cover with the cleaning-cover and the gasket (O-Ring) so it fits
and tighten them with the bowl of the mill.
Cleaning-grinding reaches high effects with low to intermediate speeds.
