3. CONFIGURATION OF THE IDS152
Remove the access panel located on the back of the printer. The
8 position 'dip' switch is used to configure the serial
communications port. The thumbwheel switch and the push-button
switches are used to configure everything else.
The ENTER light provides feedback for the entry process. If
there is paper in the printer, the results of the data entry
will be printed after it is entered.
All data entry functions begin with the ENTER light OFF.
REMEMBER: Return the thumbwheel switch to the correct mode
postition after configuration.
