4.3 Delete an Alert Device

To delete an alert device:

From the home screen, click “Administration”.

Click “Alert Devices”.

Click “Delete” next to the alert device you wish to edit or delete.

Note:

Do not delete a device if it is actively alarming. Please contact Inovonics technical
support at 800.782.2709, option two.

Caution:

Deleting an alert device can also affect your modes and actions.

4.4 Set Up an Alert Group

The alert group feature allows the creation of groups of alert devices that will
be contacted together upon an alarm, quick message, or reminder.

To set up an alert group:

From the home screen, click “Administration”.

Click “Alert Groups”.

Click “Create New Alert Group”.

Name the alert group in the “Description” field.

As desired, enter any notes in the “Notes” field.

As desired, select an alert category from the “Device/type category:” drop
down menu.

Highlight the contacts you wish to add to the group in the “Available
devices” window and click “Add device” to move them to the “Devices in
group” window.

• To adjust the order of group members, highlight the contact in the group

members window and use the “Up” and “Down” buttons.

• To remove a group member, highlight the contact in the group members

window and click the “Remove” button.

• To clear all members from the group members window, click “Clear List.”
