Resetting Monitored Devices
6.1 Overview
Monitored devices need to be reset to clear alarms. Most alarms can be reset
on the main screen. However, if the “Use device reset button to acknowledge
alarms” box has been checked in modes and actions for the device you are
resetting, you can reset the device manually.
When this box is checked the system will ignore the transmitter’s initial restore
message. Radius will keep the alarm active until the transmitter is reset or the
alarm is acknowledged on the Radius home screen. This is typically only used
on pendant transmitters, as otherwise they will send a restoral immediately
after the alarm button is released. This will clear the alarm, and not allow for
alarm escalation.

6.2 Clear Transmitter Alarms using the Radius Software
Interface
To clear a transmitter alarm using the Radius software interface:
1 On the home screen, click on the active event highlighted in red.
2 Click “Confirm This Event.”
