Note: This screen includes installation instructions to help guide you through
configuration. Click “Install Instructions” at the top of the screen to access them.
3 Enter the serial number of the pendant transmitter you will be using to
create points of interest in the “Create POIs” field.
4 Walk to your first location.
5 Press the alarm button on the pendant transmitter.
Note: Alarming the pendant multiple times in the same area at different orientations will
provide more complete results.
6 From the Radius software, click on “Administration.”
7 Click on “Monitored Devices.”
8 The point of interest you just created will populate in the list of monitored
devices under the category “IPS POIs - New.” Select “IPS POIs - New”
from the "Monitored Devices:" dropdown menu.
9 Click the new point of interest.
10 Add the new point of interest to the category “IPS POIs” in the "Device
Category:" dropdown menu.
Note: The new point of interest will not become active until it is assigned out of the “IPS
POIs - New” category.
11 Enter the location of the point of interest in the “Monitored Device
Description” field.
12 Edit "Spoken Description" as desired.
13 Add "Alert Message" as desired.
14 Add or edit "Notes" as desired.
15 Click “Update Device Record.”
16 Test to verify that the newly added pendant transmitter locations correctly
cover the desired area, and do not add false positives elsewhere.
