Click Next. The Test Your Connection screen appears where you can test your connection

and then click Next. The Select Targets screen appears.

In the Clusters group, select the check box of your cluster (for example, avalinCluster_1 as

shown in Figure 7) as the target and click Finish. You are returned to the Summary of

JDBC Data Sources screen.

In the Name column of the Data Sources table, click the data source name. The Settings

screen appears.

Click the Connection Pool tab. At the bottom of the screen (you may have to scroll down),

expand Advanced. Select Test Connections On Reserve, then click Save.

Click the Transaction tab, select every check box, and complete the following fields:
XA Transaction Timeout: 120
XA Retry Duration: 300

Click Save.

Under Change Center, click the Activate Changes button.

For an additional node in the cluster, under Domain Structure, expand Services, expand

JDBC, and select Data Sources. The Summary of JDBC Data Sources screen appears
Repeat the process for each node in the RAC cluster. Repeat from step 3 above.

When all nodes have a data source, create the multi data source.

Create the XA Multi Data Source

X To create the XA Multi Data Source

Under Domain Structure, expand Services, JDBC, and select Multi Data Sources. The

Configure the Multi Data Source screen appears.

Click Lock & Edit, then click New. The Configure the Multi Data Source screen appears.

Complete the fields as follows:
Name: OraDS
JNDI Name: OraDS
Algorithm Type: select the option you prefer, either Failover or Load-Balancing.

Click Next. The Select Targets screen appears.
