Figure 10. Reset Data Source to non-XA Multi Data Source

3

Repeat the steps above to reset the data source for each of your persistent stores.

Note

If you change the prefix name, you must restart the associated managed server for

the change to occur.

4

To verify the configuration, go into the database, and for each managed server you should

see a table <prefix>WL-Store where <prefix> is the prefix from a Persistent Store.

Now that the data source OracleNonXA is no longer assigned to your persistent stores, you can

delete it from the Data Sources table.

An Example

To help visualize what is created during the installation process and what you need to do after

installation is complete, here is an example.

Scenario: my company already has an Oracle RAC with three nodes, and I want to install Kofax

Document Exchange Server in a cluster of three managed servers. I will have the administration

server and the proxy server installed together on a non-managed machine.

My managed server machine names are SDman1, SDman2, and SDman3. The name of the

machine I want to install my administration server and proxy server to is SDadmin1. Here is my

install.properties file: the only edits I needed to make are indicated in bold, larger font.
