Integration with Recognition
At this stage, all searches have been configured but the matches found are not being
analyzed or output. Though the searches are run in the Free-form Processing
window, they will not yet run in Recognition as they are not being called from within
the standard Recognition function for each document (process_doc).
The following sections describe how to link the searches to text from fields, run and
analyze the searches and finally to output the results.
X To insert functions that Recognition will process

Select the Script tab.
2 Click the (Insert Script Function) button on the toolbar to display a
drop down list.

Select the “Insert/Update Process Search Functions” option.
The window below will display:

The first time the process script functions are inserted, all four functions will
be required. Each function has a description on the right and these are also
explained further below.
If further searches are created there may be a requirement to update some of
the functions. Due to changes made manually (for example, custom
formatting and validation) it is likely that not all functions will need
updating. In this case, the same insert function option can be selected and
