Contents of Bumper Replacement Kit
The Archer 2 bumper replacement kit
includes the following items:

Standard Archer 2 : One bumper for the
top and one bumper for the bottom
„
Barcode Archer 2 : One top bumper with a
viewing window for the barcode reader
and one bumper for the bottom
„
Instruction sheet
Removing the Bumpers
1. Pull one front corner of the bumper
away from the unit.
2. Pull the bumper off the unit.
Installing the Bumpers
Note: The Archer 2 bumpers are designed
with a small nub inside the corner of the
bumper. This must fit inside the mating
hole on the Archer 2 . Note: Color added for
highlighting
1. Place one front corner of the bumper
slightly above the front corner of the
Archer 2 as seen in the figure.
2. Push the bumper down so that the nub is
inserted into the mating hole.
3. Press the first back corner of the bumper
into the Archer 2 .
4. Press along the front and back edges
of the bumper to seat them into the
Archer 2 .
5. Press the second back corner into the
Archer 2 .
6. With the rest of the bumper seated, lift
and fold back the second front corner
of the bumper to expose the nub on the
inside of the corner.
7. Pull and stretch the bumper so that the
front corner can be positioned slightly
above the second front corner of the
Archer 2 .
8. Once positioned, insert the nub into the
mating hole.
9. Remove and replace the remaining
bumper in the same manner.
