Terminal Block Connections

Follow these instructions as you make your wiring connections. Select the wire to be
installed. Strip away 1/4 inch of insulation from the wire, place the wire into the
appropriate slot on the terminal block, and securely tighten the corresponding screw
on the top of the terminal block (see Figure 9-2). Make a firm connection, but be
careful not to over tighten the screw.

Figure 9-2: Installing Wiring and Removing a Terminal Block

All of the terminal blocks slide off the PXL-250 controller should it become necessary
to disconnect any installed cables. Firmly grasp the connector and pull it away from
the controller's printed circuit board (see Figure 9-2).

For a first-time installation, Keri recommends you make all wiring connections in the
following order, installing the wiring from the terminal block connections at the
bottom of the controller to the top. This will allow you to route and install the cables in
a sequential order and it ensures that an adequate earth ground is attached to the
controller before power is applied.
