RECORDING MAINTENANCE ENREGISTREMENT ENTRETIEN
Recording from the radio
/. Tune to the desired radio station
(See TUNING TO RADIO STATIONS).
2. Press STOP»OPEN 14 to open the cassette door.
3. Insert a suitable cassette into the cassette deck and close the
cassette door.
4. Press RECORD • to start recording.
• If you are recording from AM stations, adjust the BEAT CUT
switch to eliminate possible whistle tones during recording.
5. For brief interruptions, press PAUSE ll. To resume recording,
press PAUSE II again.
6. To stop recording, press STOP»OPEN HA.
MAINTENANCE
Tape deck maintenance
To ensure quality recording and playback of the tape deck, clean
parts ®,( b ) and © shown in the diagram below, after approx.
50 hours of operation, or on average once a month. Use a cotton
bud slightly moistened with alcohol or a special head cleaning
fluid to clean the deck.
/. Open the cassette door by pressing STOP*OPEN B4.
2. Press PLAY ◄ and clean the rubber pressure rollers ©.
3. Press PAUSE II and clean the magnetic heads ® and also the
capstan ® .
4. After cleaning, press STOP»OPEN BA.
Note: Cleaning of the heads can also be done by playing a
cleaning cassette through once.
Enregistrement à partir du syntoniseur
1. Sélectionnez la station radio désirée
(voir SYNTONISATION DES STATIONS RADIO).
2. Appuyez sur STOP»OPEN B 4 pour ouvrir le clapet du
compartiment cassette.
3. Introduisez une cassette appropriée dans la platine et refermez
le clapet.
4. Appuyez sur RECORD • pour démarrer l'enregistrement.
• Lors d'un enregistrement d'une station de radio AM, mettez le
commutateur BEAT CUT sur une autre position pour supprimer
tout sifflement pendant l'enregistrement.
5. Pour de brèves interruptions, appuyez sur PAUSE II. Pour
recommencer l'enregistrement, appuyez à nouveau sur PAUSE ll.
6. Pour arrêter l'enregistrement, appuyez sur STOP»OPEN B 4 .
ENTRETIEN
Entretien de la platine cassette
Pour garantir une bonne qualité d'enregistrement et de lecture,
nettoyez les parties ®,® et © toutes les 50 heures de
fonctionnement ou, en moyenne, une fois par mois. Utilisez un
coton-tige légèrement imbibé d'alcool ou d'un liquide spécial de
nettoyage pour têtes de platine.
1. Ouvrez le compartiment cassette en appuyant
sur STOP*OPEN BA
2. Appuyez sur PLAY ◄ et nettoyez les galets presseurs en
caoutchouc ©.
3. Appuyez sur PAUSE II et nettoyez les têtes magnétiques ® et
le cabestan © .
4. Après le nettoyage, appuyez sur STOP»OPEN BA.
Remarque: II est également possible de nettoyer les têtes en
faisant jouer une fois une cassette de nettoyage.
