Your Home Theatre Receiver gives you three Surround Sound options: Surround, Dolby Pro Logic Surround, and
Dolby Pro Logic 3CH(annel).
Surround Sound mode;
Choose this feature when playing non Dolby Pro Logic
Surround encoded movies and music. This Surround
mode gives you a feeling of being surrounded by sound.
NOTE: The Center channel (Center Speaker) is not used
in this mode.
To Select Surround Sound;
Turn the Receiver on and select the SOURCE.

Press the SURROUND MODE button until
“SURROUND ON” appears in the Receiver’s
display.
Adjust the Receiver’s MASTER VOLUME knob
to a normal listening level (or, press the Remote’s
VOLUME (A) or (V) buttons.)
Adjust the Surround (or rear) volume by pressing
the SURROUND LEVEL (+) or (-) button until the
rear sound can be heard. (Or, press the Remote’s
SELECT button until “SURROUND LEVEL”
appears in the display. Then, press the (+) or (-)
buttons to adjust the Surround volume.)
NOTE: The sound from the Surround Speakers should be
sufficiently heard, but it should not be as loud as the sound from
the front speakers.
