Your remote control is set to work your Home Theatre Receiver and many infrared remote controlled TVs, VCRs, and Cable
Controllers. Many CD Players, or Laser Disc Players, or Audio Cassette Decks can be controlled as well. There is no guarantee
this remote will operate your brand of equipment or will operate all functions of your equipment.

NOTE: These instructions cover setting up your
remote to operate a TV. To setup the remote for
additional equipment, such as a VCR or

CD Player, follow these instructions. But, be sure to

press the desired MODE SELECT button (VCR,

AVX, etc.).

First, press the “TV” MODE SELECT
button. Now, press the STANDBY*ON
button.

- If the TV turns on, the remote may be

setup to operate your TV. Go ahead
and try other remote buttons.

- If the remote does not turn the TV

on, follow these steps:

First, look up the three-digit brand
remote code number for your brand of
TV. The brand remote codes are listed
on pages 28-32.

NOTE: If more than one brand remote code
number is listed, you may have to try more

than the first three-digit code number in order
to locate your TV’s remote code.

Press and release both the SET button
and “TV” MODE SELECT button at
the same time. The LED on the remote
will light up.

Using the NUMBER buttons, input
the three-digit code number. The
LED will go out when a three-digit
code number is entered.

NOTE: If a three-digit code number is not
correctly entered, the LED will stay on. Press
the “TV” MODE SELECT button and start
again at step one.

Press the “TV” MODE SELECT
button again. Now, point the remote at
the TV and press the STANDBY*ON
button. If the TV turns on, try all the
remote’s TV function buttons. For
details, see page 16.

If the remote does not operate your
TV, repeat the above steps using the
next code number listed for your brand
of TV.

If after repeated attempts using all remote
code numbers listed for your brand TV,
