Routine Maintenance
Aligning the Print Head
After the BJ cartridge is exchanged, align the print head position of the BJ cartridge as explained
below.

Confirm that the printer is turned on and place two sheets of A4 plain paper in
the auto sheet feeder.

Open the printer driver setting screen.
Open the Page Setup dialogue box.
Click the Utilities button and open the printer utility
dialogue box.

Select Print Head Alignment.

Select Test Print.

Click Print Head Alignment.

Read the message displayed on the screen
and then click OK.

The pattern shown on the right is printed out.
