3.5 Using the Keyboard and Touchpad
The PXIS-2690P comes with an integrated 87-key keyboard and
touchpad for data input. The keyboard is Windows®-compliant
while the touchpad functions as a mouse when moving the cursor
in a graphical user interface (GUI). The buttons below the touch-
pad corresponds to the left and right mouse buttons. Tapping the
touchpad corresponds to a left-button click.
NOTE Opening the keyboard tray also shows the LCD and front
panel control buttons and LEDs.
To use the keyboard and touchpad:
1. Locate two keyboard tray latches on both sides of the
chassis.
2. With both thumbs restraining the keyboard tray, push the
latches up to release.
