Working Under Drilling Unit
Before working under area of drilling unit
supported by a stabilizer, make sure drilling unit is parked on
hard surface.
1. Remove cylinder locks from storage at rear of pipe box and place over extended cylinder rods (shown)
with curved ends toward stabilizer shoes.
2. Raise stabilizers to lower unit until load is supported by cylinder locks.
If working under
raised drill frame, support front and back of drill frame with jack stands or equivalent
brace capable of supporting the weight of the unit.
Crushing weight could cause death or serious injury. Use
proper procedures and equipment or stay away.
