Configurazione delle modalità RAID
1.
Installare due unità disco rigido seriali identiche (vedere il Manuale utente completo memorizzato sul CD-ROM Device Drivers &
Utilities + User’s Manual per i dettagli su come installare i dischi rigidi).
2.
Preparare un dischetto di 3.5" da 1,44MB vuoto già formattato, ed un'unità disco floppy USB esterna.
3.
Creare un dischetto del driver RAID utilizzando un computer operativo per copiare il contenuto della cartella sataraid che si trova
sul CD contenenteDriver e utilità + Manuale Utente (aprire /Sfoglia.. per D:Drivers\00CHIPSET\IDE\WinXP\sataraid) su un
disco floppy vuoto.
4.
Accendere il computer e premere F2 per entrare nel BIOS.
5.
Aprire il menu Advanced > Advanced Chipset Control e impostare la voce "Configuration NV RAID:" (configurazione NV RAID)
su Enabled (attivato).
6.
Andare al menu
Boot e selezionare CD-ROM/DVD-ROM come prima periferica alla voce "Boot priority order" (ordine di priorità di
avvio) premendo i tasti <Maiusc> e <+> per spostare CD-ROM/DVD-ROM alla parte superiore dell'ordine.
7.
Verificare che il computer sia collegato all'alimentatore, e premere F10 per salvare e uscire dal BIOS.
