2. Once the netboot is disabled, go to the Exit tab and select Exit Saving Changes. Select Yes
on the Setup Confirmation screen. Subsequently the system proceeds through disk boot.
2.3.1.4 Example of Disk Based Installation
1. Connect the DHCP/TFTP server to the front panel of PrAMC-7211. It is recommended to
keep the setup in a local LAN along with 4440 chassis.
2. Copy and extract PrAMC-7211 installation tar file into the external TFTP server (into
/tftpboot/
).
3. Extract the release tar file contents using the following command
tar -jxvf PrAMC721x-WR-3.0-BBS-RM01-1.0.2.tar.bz2
4. Update DHCP configuration file with boot configuration and restart DHCP server as
described in Setting Up DHCP Configuration on page 17 .
5. Modify the contents of PrAMC721x-WR-3.0-BBS-RM01-
1.0.2/disk/pxelinux.cfg/default
file
