At present, the OEM manufacturing data is expected to contain four entries, beginning at
offset 0x00
1. Manufacturer, Null terminated (0x00)
2. Product Name, Null terminated (0x00)
3. Part/Model Number, Null terminated (0x00)
4. Serial Number, Null terminated (0x00)
5.4.1.4 Write OEM Manufacturing Data Contents in DCA EEPROM
Each Drive Carrier Assembly (DCA) includes an EEPROM, with a 128 byte region reserved for
FRU data storage. The region may contain data deemed relevant to the manufacturer. Users
may read the FRU data region 8 bytes at a time. Use this command to write bytes to the FRU
data region at a given offset.

Where 0xZZ indicates the disk drive:
0x01 is disk#1, 0x02 is disk#2.
Where 0xYY is byte count offset, (0x00-0x77)
Any other 0xZZ value will trigger completion code 0xCC
Return code 0x00 - Success
0xC9 = IPMI PARAMETER OUT OF RANGE, I2C write failed, invalid address
0xCC - Invalid Data in Request
0xD5 = Command not supported in present state
Return Data 0xA4 0x76 0x00
