To test formats, use the Online Passthrough feature built into
the 6037 and 6037 EX printers. This utility replaces
ONLINE.EXE, which was used with the 6035 printer.
6037 Printer
To test formats with Online Passthrough:
1. Press the P key as you turn the printer on.
2. Release the P key when the bar at the bottom of the display
stops moving. “Online Passthrough running…” appears on
the printer display.
3. Connect the PC and printer with a cable and send formats to
the printer through the COM port.
NOTE: To exit Online Passthrough, reboot the printer.
6037EX Printer
1. Press the f and On/Off keys at the same time.
2. When the logo screen appears, release the f key.
3. When the menu appears, press 4 and e quickly
(“System Options”). If you don’t do it quick enough, the
menu scrolls off the screen.
4. On the next menu, choose 2 (“Print Passthru”). “Online
Passthrough running…” appears on the printer display.
5. Connect the PC and printer with a cable and send formats to
the printer through the COM port.
NOTE: To exit Online Passthrough, reboot the printer.
