Printhead Temperature is how warm the printhead is. You
check the temperature in the Diagnostics program.
Rule of Thumb
The warmer the printhead, the faster the print speed.

Format Width is the width of the label (not the width of the
supply).
Before adjusting the width, you must consider the shape, length,
current width, and arrangement of fields on the format.
♦
If the format is square and there is no available white space,
you cannot take advantage of increasing the print speed with
this variable.
♦
If the format has available white space, you can rearrange
the fields to remove the white space. This change
decreases the format width and increases the print speed.
♦
If the format’s length is less than its width, you can turn the
label (and all its fields) vertically. This effectively switches
the length and width of the format. It decreases the width
and keeps printed labels intact, but requires major data
stream changes.
