The configurable parameters for the GE-2 Tab are:
• IP Address: The IP address assigned to the CMR-8500 for the GE-2 interface. The IP address is
entered in dotted decimal format.
• Subnet Mask: The subnet mask assigned to the CMR-8500’s GE-2 interface. The subnet mask is
entered in dotted decimal format and is typically 255.255.255.0 for a C-Class mask, 255.255.0.0 for a
B-Class mask, or 255.0.0.0 for an A-Class mask.
• Link Configuration: Speed and duplex setting for the GE-2 Interface. The valid selections for this
interface are:
• Auto (Preferred)
• 1000-BaseT/Full Duplex
• 100-BaseT/Full Duplex
• 100-BaseT/Half Duplex
• 10-BaseT/Full Duplex
• 10-BaseT/Half Duplex
• Disabled
