The configurable parameters for the Egress Tab are:
• Enable: Enables / Disables the selected port. Note that only one (1) egress port may be enabled at a
time.
• Clock Rate: The CMR-8500 supports egress clock rates from 100 Kbps to 190 Mbps (188-Byte
mode only) in steps of 1 bps (accuracy better than +/- 1 Kbps).
• Framing Mode: The CMR-8500 supports both 188-Byte and 204-Byte framing mode. When
selecting 204 Byte framing mode, the 16 Bytes of the MPEG-2 packets are padded with zeros (0x00).
