2.4 CONFIGURATION
In order for the digital SAM to communicate both in and out, the baud rates of each port
must first be set to match the attached equipment. Initially the user will not know what
the baud rates for each port of the SAM are set at. It is essential therefore that in order
to communicate with the SAM the following procedure is adopted in the correct
sequence.
1) Plug the SAM into your PC serial port.
2) Start SCREAM. From the main start-up window (below), right click on File, and
select Setup
3) In the Setup window select the Com Ports tab (shown below) and right click on
Com1 (or which ever com port you are using on your PC).
