Aggressive substances, excessively long immersion times or
incorrect dosage may damage the instruments and reduce
the number of re-uses.
Warning
The suitability of the selected method for the disinfec-
tion/sterilization of the respective instrument must be
verified in advance.
Recommendations to prolong the life of polishing
instruments
Mechanical cleaning of the polishing instruments under running
tap water and the subsequent sterilization in the autoclave
increases the number of times the polishing instruments can be
re-used. Alcohol-based disinfectant solutions may reduce
reusability.

Beschreibung
Politip ist ein effektives Zwei-Schritt-Poliersystem zum Finieren
und Polieren von dentalen Compositematerialien und von Amal-
gamrestaurationen. Das Poliersystem enthält folgende drei
Poliererformen: eine Flamme, ein kleiner und ein grosser Kelch.
Zusammensetzungen
Die Polierinstrumente bestehen aus Kunstkautschuk, Siliziumcar-
bidpartikeln, Titanoxid. Die Schäfte bestehen aus rostfreiem
Edelstahl.
Indikationen
Politip ist geeignet zum Finieren und Polieren von Composite-
restaurationen sowie von Amalgamrestaurationen.
Kontraindikationen
Bei bekannter Allergie auf Inhaltsstoffe der Polierinstrumente ist
auf die Anwendung zu verzichten.
Nebenwirkungen
Bisher keine bekannt.
Anwendungshinweise
1. Schritt: Finieren mit Politip-F (grau):
Mit dem Finierer Politip-F werden Überschüsse entfernt und
Restaurationsoberflächen geglättet.
2. Schritt: Polieren mit Politip-P (grün)
Mit Politip-P (grün) wird die Restauration hochglanzpoliert.
Die Restaurationsoberflächen werden mit einer mittleren
Anpresskraft (ca. 2N) finiert bzw. poliert. Der Finier- bzw. der
Poliervorgang erfolgt mit Wasserspray zur Kühlung und auch um
die entstandenen Polierrückstände zu entfernen.
