– Combination with materials that are not approved and/or

recommended

– Insufficient polymerization

Interactions
– Materials containing eugenol/clove oil inhibit the polyme-

rization of composites. Such materials must not be used in
conjunction with Telio Add-On Flow.

– Discolouration may occur in combination with cationic mout-

hwashes, plaque disclosing agents and chlorhexidine.

Application in the dental practice

• Direct addition of material during the fabrication of

Telio CS C&B temporaries
Newly fabricated Telio CS C&B temporaries can be supple-
mented or repaired with fresh material following the remo-
val of the inhibition layer or, in general, after having ground
the area to be adjusted. Telio Add-On Flow is directly applied
to the prepared area and cured according to the table below.
In areas where retention is limited, the bond between the
different layers may be enhanced by pre-treating the sur-
faces as described in section "Repair / adjustment of Telio CS
C&B, Telio CAD, Telio Lab".
Finally, polish the surfaces using silicon carbide rubber
polishers (e.g. Astropol

®

).

15–29 psi). Thoroughly rinse with water and dry with oil-free
compressed air. Then wet the surfaces to be bonded to extra-
orally with Telio Activator. Brush Telio Activator into the enti-
re surface for at least 30 seconds using an application brush
in order to ensure an even distribution and quick penetration
of the Activator. Subsequently, allow the Activator to react
for another 30–60 seconds (total reaction time 1–2 minutes).
Now apply the Heliobond bonding agent, thinly disperse it
with blown air and polymerize for 10 seconds (650 mW/cm

using LOP).

Then apply Telio Add-On Flow and cure according to the
table below.
Finally, polish the surfaces using silicon carbide rubber
polishers (e.g. Astropol).
As an alternative, the conditioned areas may also be repai-
red and supplemented with a light-curing Ivoclar Vivadent
composite (e.g. Tetric EvoFlow

®

) following preparation.

• Polymerization times (Telio Add-On Flow)

• Finishing/polishing

After polymerization, remove excess material with suitable
finishers (e.g. Astropol F) or fine diamonds. Check the
occlusion and articulation and adjust by grinding. Use silicon
carbide rubber polishers (e.g. Astropol P / Astropol HP) to
polish the restoration to a high gloss.

Application in the dental laboratory

, 100 µm, 1–2 bar/15–29 psi). Thoroughly clean

with steam and dry with oil-free compressed air. After that,
condition the restoration with Telio Lab Cold Liquid or Telio
Activator. For that purpose, distribute Telio Activtor evenly
and generously on the conditioned surface and allow it to
react for at least 2 minutes to a maximum of 4 minutes.
Apply SR Composiv to the activated surface according to the
respective Instructions for Use and polymerize. Apply Telio
Add-On Flow to the conditioned surface, contour to achieve
the desired shape and polymerize.
The temporaries can also be additionally supplemented with
Telio Lab LC materials (See Telio Lab LC Instructions for Use).

• Polymerization times for Telio Add-On Flow

The respective light-curing Telio components are pre-
polymerized to ensure that they stay in place and to be able
to apply a further layer. However, final polymerization of the
entire restoration is always required.
