Parameter Check

This function enables you to check the measurement results and
equalizer characteristics after Audyssey Auto Setup.

Check the equalizer.

• If “EQ Check” is selected, press

to select equalizing curve

(“Audyssey” or “Audyssey Flat”) to be checked.

The confirmation screen reappears. Repeat step 2.

Retrieving Audyssey Auto Setup settings

If you set “Restore” to “Yes”, you can return to Audyssey Auto Setup
measurement result (value calculated at the start by MultEQ®) even
when you have changed each setting manually.

Error messages

An error message is displayed if Audyssey® Auto Setup could not be completed due to speaker placement, the measurement environment, etc.
If this happens, check the relevant items, be sure to take the necessary measures, then perform Audyssey Auto Setup over again.

NOTE

Be sure to turn off the power before checking speaker connections.

• Not all speakers could be detected.

• There is too much noise in the room for accurate

measurements to be made.

• Speaker or subwoofer sound is too low for

accurate measurements to be made.

• Either turn off any device generating noise or

move it away.

• Perform again when the surroundings are quieter.
• Check the speaker installation and the direction

in which the speakers are facing.

• Adjust the subwoofer’s volume.
