SELECTING A RANGE OF FILES
TO BE PLAYED

You can select whether all fi les on a disc or the fi les
in a specifi c folder are to be played.

During stop, press the MENU button on the

remote controller.

Use

the

4 or ¢ button to display “CD

Setup =>” on the display, then press the
ENTER button on the remote controller.

Use

the

4 or ¢ button to display “Range

Spec=>” on the display, then press the
ENTER button on the remote controller.

To play all fi les on the disc, display “1 All”,

using the

4 or ¢ button, then press the

ENTER button on the remote controller.

To play the fi les in a specifi c folder, display

2 Folder”, using the

4 or ¢ button,

then press the ENTER button on the remote
controller.

(At the time of purchase, this is set to “1

All”.)

Press

the

MENU button on the remote

controller to complete the setting.

Note

In normal/random playback or AMS play, fi les of
the selected range will be played.

Press

the

POWER button on the unit to turn

on the power. Place the disc to be played in
the extended disc tray.

On closing the disc tray, after “TOC

Reading” has displayed, the title of fi le that
be played will be displayed.

3 button on the unit or remote

controller to start play. Adjust the volume
level at the amplifi er.

Pausing or stopping playback or CD

removal are carried out in the same way as
with an Audio CD. (See page 7)

Note

There are certain playback functions, such as
program playback and pitch control, which cannot
be used when MP3, WMA or AAC fi les are being
played back.

Tip

A maximum of 511 fi les, organized within up to 255
folders, can be played back per disc.
(The maximum number of folders plus fi les is 512.)

While not playing, select the folder using

the + or buttons on the remote controller.

The folder name will be displayed.

ENTER button on the remote

controller. The fi rst fi le name in the folder
will be displayed.

ADVANCING TO A SUBSEQUENT FILE

Press the

¡/¢ button on the unit or ¢ button

on the remote controller for the number of times
equivalent to the number of fi les through which play
is to be advanced.

RETURNING TO THE START OF THE FILE
NOW PLAYING OR A PREVIOUS FILE

When the

4/1 button on the unit or 4 button

on the remote controller is pressed, play returns to
the start of the current fi le.
Pressing the same button several times will locate
the start of a fi le the equivalent number of fi le starts
before the current play position.

DISPLAYING TEXT INFORMATION

Each time the TEXT button on the remote controller
is pressed, the display will change in the order
shown below. During playback, mainly information
about the fi le currently playing will be displayed.

• Depending on the type of file being played,

information may not be displayed.

• Only alphanumeric characters can be displayed.
